Truth Youth Ministry – Teens Reaching the
Unsaved Through Him started in 1998 as
strictly a youth group. The Mission statement
for Truth since its inception has been to
“Equip Teens to Minister within their
Community and Church:” Today that mission
continues except the ministry has expanded
from just teens to college and career minded
young adults who demonstrate by their
actions and love for God their desire to serve
their community and church. One example of
the mission statement in action is the current
Truth Youth Pastor. Pastor James Dixon was a
student within this ministry and now is the
leader over its various ministries.

1)        All – 4 – One Junior High Ministry – Director: Stephanie Holley
This ministry is designed for the Junior High student and provides them the opportunity to explore their
role in ministry. Whether in the creative arts, such as dance, singing or drama these young people are
given the opportunity to minister in various settings to include community outreach and church service.
This ministry meets at 4 pm every Sunday prior to the combined Truth Service.

2)        Truth Senior High Ministry – Director: Michael Evenson
This ministry is designed for High School students in grades 9th thru 12th. Students are afforded the
opportunity to further explore their place in ministry by taking part in dance, drama, delivering the word
and praise in a high tempo atmosphere conducive to worship. This ministry currently meets during the
Truth Service

3)        Truth College & Careers – Director: Trena Toombs
This ministry is designed for both college students and young career minded adults. This ministry is
based around the Word of God but also the fellowship of one another. By design this ministry meets on
Friday Evenings and rotates its location weekly.

4)        Act Four Drama Team - Director: Diana Evenson
This ministry team is the drama team of Truth and is comprised of both Senior High and College age
participants. From impromptu skits to interpretive pantomime this team creatively ministers the Word of
God by providing a visual learning experience.

5)        S.H.I.E.L.D.
Sharing Him In Every Living Dance is the dance team of Truth. From classical to hip-hop this team
provides ministry that will move you. This team is open to all ages (6th grade to adult) and Christian
musical genres.
