     Larry is a native of Kentucky who came to Oklahoma by way of the United States Air
Force. He came to know the Lord at the age of nine, but truly gave his heart to Jesus at
twenty-eight. Larry was raised in a Baptist church, but it was through the ministry of
Abundant Life Church (soon to be known as Word Aflame Ministries) in Del City, OK
that he and his wife Janet came to know the Lord. Larry and Janet have been married
for 22 years. Their son Jason and his wife Maria and their daughter Meaghan are all
members of WAM.
     When asked how he came to be a part of the ministry team at Word Aflame, Larry
said, "After coming to the Lord in 1987, I felt God calling me to the ministry but did not
know in what capacity. After living in Japan for four years (1993-1997) and returning
home to WAM, God opened up the door for Youth Ministry." Now God is broadening that
calling to include community outreach.
     Larry spends his free time rooting for his beloved Kentucky Wildcats (mostly in
basketball season, of course).
